Chalk markers can be blended just like other brush markers or watercolors. Try mixing different colors by layering or blending them together to create beautiful gradients or shading effects. ~PURVA

Bonus Tip from Purva:
Use saral transfer paper to trace designs to the chalkboard
I personally prefer drafting my design on a scrap paper and then transfering it onto
the chalkboard. The cleanest way to trace is using a saral transfer paper.
Clean the chalkboard.
Place Saral paper (colored side down) on the chalkboard.
Position and secure your design on top of the Saral paper.
Trace the design with a pencil or stylus.
Remove the design and Saral paper.
Check the transferred design on the chalkboard.
Retrace the design with chalk or chalk markers.
Clean the chalkboard.
